Imad represents and advises multinational companies, state-owned entities, and sovereigns through all aspects of international dispute resolution, including dispute avoidance, management, and resolution. He is particularly experienced in investment treaty arbitration and arbitrations under all major arbitral rules, including AAA-ICDR, ICSID, ICC, HKIAC, LCIA, and UNCITRAL. His practice includes U.S. court litigation in cross-border and energy matters.

Imad remains committed to thought leadership in his practice area, frequently publishing articles and leading lectures on topics related to international arbitration and dispute resolution. Imad actively serves in leadership roles on boards of leading international organizations and arbitral institutions, like the ICC, AAA-ICDR, and ABA. He is also a professor of international law and arbitration at Washington University School of Law where he leads the law school’s International and Dispute Resolution Symposium program.
