Bernard Tézé is a partner at DS Avocats in Paris, specializing in corporate law, including M&A, strategic alliances, joint ventures, and restructuring. He has significant experience in private equity, LBO, and venture capital, particularly in regulated sectors such as healthcare, fintech, and e-commerce. Additionally, he engages in the start-up ecosystem, collaborating with incubators, accelerators, and venture funds.

Before joining DS Avocats in 2008, Bernard was a partner at White & Case and served as counsel at Clifford Chance in Paris. He spent four years seconded to a law firm in Japan, where he regularly returns for professional engagements. Bernard has participated in outbound acquisitions across China, Japan, Russia, Brazil, and India. He continues to expand his legal expertise to advise companies in Asia, particularly in Japan, through DS Avocats’ Japan Desk.

Bernard graduated from HEC in 1985 with a master’s in public and Private Law and a DESS in International Taxation. He advised on more than 400 M&A transactions, mostly cross border.
