Vivian Fraga is a Partner in TozziniFreire’s Antitrust practice, with more than 15 years of experience in competition and antitrust law. She began her career at the Brazilian Competition Authority (CADE), where she served as an enforcer in the department responsible for investigating antitrust infringements, including high-profile international cartel cases. Vivian has extensive expertise in a wide range of competition matters, including complex merger reviews, cartel investigations, leniency and settlement negotiations, analysis of horizontal and vertical agreements, abuse of dominance cases, and the implementation of compliance programs. She also contributes to the firm’s Asia Practice Group, reflecting her interest and involvement in cross-border matters. She holds a degree in Political Science and International Relations from Suffolk University (USA), a law degree from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, a postgraduate specialization in Regulatory Economic Law from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), and a master’s degree in Law from the University of São Paulo (USP). Vivian is consistently recognized for her work by leading legal directories, including The Legal 500, Latin Lawyer 250, and Análise Advocacia 500. In 2021, she was featured in the Women in Business Law guide by Expert Guides for her outstanding contributions to the field.
