Aaron leads the tech transactions practice in the United States at Nishith Desai Associates. For over a decade, he has advised clients on a host of subjects ranging from market entry and incorporation in India, investments and technology deals, product launches, privacy, data protection, cyber security, IP structuring, digital payments, AI deployment, commercial communications and consumer protection. He also advises on sectoral regulations such as in the IT/ITES, fintech, telecom, insurance, banking and government procurement sectors. He has been involved in policy and advocacy efforts on foreign direct investment in e-commerce, regulatory conditions for e-wallets, intermediary liability, AI framework, India’s new personal data protection law and proposed non-personal data governance. Aaron is the Vice Chair of the Technology-Media-Telecommunications Committee of the IPBA and winner of the IPBA Annual Scholarship for Young Lawyers in 2019.
