Xu Yibai previously worked as a legal advisor in the Paris and Beijing offices of Électricité de France, handling legal matters for new projects and existing power assets in the Asia, Africa, South America, and the Middle East regions and the Greater China region. After joining Zhong Lun, Xu Yibai was extensively involved in various legal services related to greenfield investments, mergers and acquisitions, financing, insurance, engineering/construction, and operation/maintenance for large-scale overseas infrastructure projects. This includes jurisdiction-specific legal environment investigations, transaction structuring, due diligence for projects, establishment of project companies and SPVs, drafting and negotiating project transaction documents such as investment agreements, concession agreements, share transfer agreements, joint venture
agreements, financing and security agreements, as well as international arbitration and cross-border enforcement of arbitration awards.
